Lim Han Loong is a young filmmaker graduated from University Science of Malaysia (USM) with a Bachelor Degree of Communication Studied (Film & Broadcasting). He believes filmmaking is an art to express the relationships, personal struggles and conflicts among ordinary people in their daily lives. He has participated in Astro New Director Award 2014 and 2nd New New Wave Young Filmmaker Workshop 2016. His work “The Way We Love” has been selected as a finalist of Astro New Director Award 2014, and also SKT Short Film Competition, which was recognized as ASEAN TOP 10 in the competition and screened internationally in Beijing. His recent work “1304km: Girl From Sumatra” has been selected as finalist of BMW Shorties 2016.
Synopsis: When his crush disappears without telling, he projects his feelings, desire and love towards a vegetative patient.
