2nd Young Filmmakers Workshop: Short Film
Young Filmmaking Workshop aims to provide young and growing film talents in Malaysia an unprecedented platform to learn directly from Southeast Asian established filmmakers (as mentors). All the participants was below 25 year old, during the workshop, the South East Asian mentors will share their experience to them in Producing, Directing, Assistant Director, Editing, Sound, Cinematographer and Production Design. In the end, two of the potentials Malaysian young filmmakers will be represent Malaysia at the FLY Workshop by ASEAN-ROK

Day by Day by Group 1
Synopsis: The film focuses on loneliness of four individuals and how are they combating to achieve a new lease of life. A mother who is grieving on her decreased daughter, an optimistic teenager who lacks in confidence, a middle aged man who finds contentment through isolation, a best friend who feels the guilt on the loss of her best friend and who they connect to each other forms the rest of the story.

Synopsis: Gan struggles with the lost of her close friend Anju. She sees flashes of her last robbery. The regret of leaving her friend behind after her last robbery leaves her scarred. Meanwhile, Anju’s mother is fighting the same battle of lost.

Synopsis: The journey called life could be seen through the little things that makes our day. It moves through form, space and time. Moving forward means to reflect upon the present time.
Flower of his Dream by Putri Purnama Sugua, Ho Chee Jen and Vevainedra A/L Hendry
Synopsis: This story tells of a woman's dilemma in determining the choice. Where they try to glorify beauty to the satisfaction of the other party. Little did they know that satisfaction does not exist within them. But instead they hurt themselves.
