Singapore and the Philippines — additional routes

Checked 8 November 2026. These programmes have different applicant and partner requirements. Their existence does not mean a new application round is currently open.

Singapore-registered companies apply through calls for proposals. First features: up to S$300,000; Asia co-productions: up to S$600,000; global co-productions: up to S$1.2 million, subject to qualifying-cost caps. A Malaysian producer cannot apply alone. Asia co-productions require a qualifying Singapore co-producer and Asian partner, track records and distribution plans for at least three countries, including one outside Southeast Asia. The last listed 2026 rounds have passed; no new window is confirmed here.

Non-recoupable funding for international co-productions with a Filipino producer. Revised October 2026 framework: minority track requires at least 10% Filipino equity; majority track requires the highest equity share and at least 20%. At least 60% of the production budget must be confirmed. Filipino creative/technical participation and distribution requirements apply.

Feature/series support: up to PHP7 million (minority) or PHP13 million (majority). Documentary/short support: up to PHP3 million or PHP5 million respectively. Qualified ASEAN co-productions can receive a PHP1 million bonus; a cultural-test bonus may also apply. No application window verified for 8 November 2026–8 February 2027. Check the current guidelines with your Filipino co-producer.

A production-spend rebate, not an unrestricted development grant. For international audiovisual projects working with a Philippine production company on local production, animation or post-production services. Eligible local expenditure and audit conditions apply. Confirm the current rebate, minimum spend and application window before committing costs; no new dates verified for this three-month period.

The SEA-SHORTS and SEA-DOC programmes listed above announce a 5 November–5 December 2026 call. SEA-SHORTS supports six shorts at S$10,000 each; SEA-DOC supports three feature documentaries in late edit/finishing at S$10,000 each. These are Southeast Asian programmes, not Singapore-only. The official page still displays “Open Call Coming Soon”; confirm the application form and detailed eligibility. See Upcoming for the dated list.

International routes: work with a producer or partner

Fiction, animation and creative documentary support via an eligible French company applying with the foreign producer. Before-production and after-production routes have different rules; the finishing route is not open to every completed film.

Fiction and documentary · Norwegian minority co-producer
